Royal Caribbean is amplifying the cruise experience with a monumental $100 million refurbishment of the Allure of the Seas, set to dazzle passengers when she re-enters service in April 2025. The substantial makeover will infuse the ship with an array of new features, including over 35 dining and drinking spots, a resort-style pool deck, and adrenaline-pumping slides, enhancing the onboard experience to unprecedented levels. The Allure of the Seas, since its debut in 2010, has been a marvel of maritime engineering and design, captivating over 6,000 passengers per sailing with its innovative neighborhood concept and array of onboard amenities.

The remodel will see the pool deck transformed into a vibrant, resort-style haven, complete with updated hot tubs, new seating arrangements, and the signature Lime & Coconut pool bar, evoking a distinctly Caribbean ambiance. The introduction of the Ultimate Abyss, the tallest dry slide at sea, along with the Perfect Storm waterslides, promises unmatched thrills for adventure seekers. Moreover, a new Splashaway Bay aqua park will cater to younger cruisers, offering a fun-filled oasis of water cannons, pools, and slides.

Among the novelties, guests will find the Pesky Parrot tiki bar, a refreshing twist on tropical leisure with its wide selection of fruit-based cocktails. The dining scene on the Allure will see the addition of three new restaurants: Playmakers Sports Bar and Arcade, the Mason Jar southern American food eatery, and El Loco Fresh Mexican fare, enriching the culinary diversity aboard. Adding to the entertainment options, a new escape room themed 'Apollo 18: Lunar Landing' and a glow-in-the-dark laser tag arena will engage families and friends in exhilarating group activities.

The upgrade extends to the ship's accommodations as well, with the introduction of the Ultimate Panoramic Suite, offering breathtaking 200-degree views through floor-to-ceiling glass windows. This suite signifies the pinnacle of luxury and comfort with its sizable living space and premium amenities. The dedicated spaces for kids and teens will receive a much-needed revamp, ensuring that younger passengers have access to the latest in entertainment and interactive fun.

Setting sail from Barcelona and Rome for the summer 2025 season, the Allure of the Seas will embark on 7-night voyages across the Western Mediterranean, visiting enchanting destinations in Spain, France, and Italy. This itinerary marks a significant return to Europe for the vessel, providing passengers with the perfect blend of cultural exploration and onboard luxury. Following her European stint, the Allure will transition to the Caribbean, offering a range of cruises from Fort Lauderdale.
