Carnival Glory, the beloved Conquest-class vessel known for its vibrant itineraries and spirited ambiance, has recently emerged from a comprehensive more than three-week dry dock session in Cadiz, Spain, brimming with upgrades designed to enhance the guest experience. Having set sail on a captivating transatlantic journey from Barcelona on April 18, the ship is now primed to dazzle its guests with a slew of new features and refurbishments that cater to a broad demographic, ensuring all aboard have an unparalleled cruise adventure.
One of the most heartfelt additions to the Carnival Glory is the Heroes Tribute Bar, a thoughtfully conceptualized venue that pays homage to veterans and military members, showcasing the cruise line's gratitude for their sacrifices and service. This venue is adorned with patriotic décor and military memorabilia, promoting an atmosphere of appreciation and respect. Further amplifying its commitment to the military community, Carnival Cruise Line has pledged a portion of the proceeds from the sale of its “Heroes American Pale Ale” to Operation Homefront, a notable charity supporting veterans and their families.
In keeping with its family-friendly ethos, Carnival Glory has also revitalized its Camp Ocean, the ship's dedicated space for young cruisers aged 2-11. The revamped area now boasts new colors, furnishings, and a wider variety of activity options, ensuring the cruise line's youngest guests have a memorable and engaging experience. Teens and adults alike will be pleased with the new video arcade and the enhancements made to the ship’s swimming pools, not to mention the general refresh across all public areas including updated décor, efficient lighting, and modernized furnishings, breathing new life into the 21-year-old vessel.
Accessibility and operational efficiency have been at the forefront of Carnival Glory’s dry dock renovations. The ship now boasts enhanced features compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), such as improved signage, accessible staterooms, wider doorways, and other facilities, making sure all guests can navigate the ship comfortably and safely. The technical updates are equally significant, with advancements in operational software and hardware, new equipment, and safety upgrades ensuring smooth sailing.
Carnival Glory will not only captivate guests with its fresh aesthetics and enhanced amenities but will also introduce compelling itineraries. Following the transatlantic voyage, the ship will commence offering 3- and 4-night Bahamas cruises from Port Canaveral starting May 2, featuring visits to picturesque destinations such as Nassau, Princess Cays, and Bimini. Excitingly, in July 2025, Carnival Glory is set to be one of the first to offer sailings to Celebration Key, Carnival’s new private getaway on Grand Bahama island, enriching the cruise options for adventure seekers and beach lovers alike.
