Disney Cruise Line (DCL) is gearing up to offer passengers an array of breathtaking voyages for the summer of 2025, promising an unforgettable mix of tropical, Alaskan, and European destinations. The cruise line’s carefully curated itineraries are designed to cater to families looking for both adventure and relaxation, with departures from several key ports across the United States and Europe. Disney's commitment to creating magical experiences is evident in the diverse destinations, including the sun-kissed beaches of The Bahamas and the Caribbean, the majestic landscapes of Alaska, and the rich cultural tapestry of Europe.
For the first time ever, Disney Cruise Line will be embarking on European adventures aboard the Disney Fantasy. Starting from Barcelona, Spain, and Civitavecchia-Rome, Italy, the Disney Fantasy will sail through the Mediterranean and Northern Europe from May to late July. Highlighting its European debut, the ship will feature itineraries that range from 5 to 12 nights, allowing passengers to explore the picturesque Mediterranean ports of call. One of the special sailings includes a 12-night voyage to the Greek Isles, providing an in-depth exploration of this historic region.
In addition to its European journeys, the Disney Fantasy will later move to the UK, homeporting in Southampton, England. From late July to September, passengers will have the opportunity to visit some of Northern Europe’s most coveted destinations, including Spain, Norway, and the British Isles. This shift to the UK marks a significant expansion in Disney Cruise Line’s itinerary offerings, presenting new travel possibilities for those looking to explore these unique regions.
Alaska remains on the list of must-visit destinations for the summer of 2025, with the Disney Wonder ship leading the charge. Operating round trips from Vancouver, BC, Canada, from May through September, the Wonder will take guests on an exploratory journey through Alaska’s stunning natural beauty. The itineraries will cover essential Alaskan ports such as Juneau, Skagway, and Ketchikan, offering an array of port adventures that cater to nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.
Florida will continue to serve as a pivotal launch point for Disney Cruise Line, with four ships, including the newest vessel, the Disney Treasure, embarking on voyages to The Bahamas and the Caribbean. Disney's private island paradises, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, will be pivotal stops for these tropical getaways, providing guests a double dose of Disney magic both onboard and ashore. Summer 2025 sees the return of the Disney Magic to Port Canaveral, further enriching the lineup with special sailings that cater to guests looking to indulge in the Caribbean’s unique charm.
