The Port of Algiers (El-Jazair) is the main seaport of Algeria located along the Bay of Algiers, built on the slopes of Sahel Hills. It is a large deep-water seaport with a 22.9m deep water channel and a 7.6m long cargo pier. The port area has 39 berths including general cargo, containers, grain, and fodder berths.
