Cabrits Cruise Ship Berth is a dedicated cruise facility located within Cabrits National Park in Portsmouth, Dominica. Opened in April of 1992, this facility accommodates cruise ships calling in the northern part of the island. The wharf is a timber structure running parallel to the coast with a pedestrian walkway. The passenger terminal includes offices, a craft shop, an open Theatre, and a waiting area for taxis and ground transportation. The Cabrits National Park is a 1,313-acre enclave comprising coral reefs, tropical forest, wetlands, and the historic site of Fort Shirley, one of the most impressive Georgian military outposts in the region. Visitors can explore hiking trails, coral reefs, and experience the rich history of the area.
