Port La Crosse WI is a charming Mississippi River cruise port and town located in Wisconsin, USA. The port town covers an area of approximately 58 km2 (23 mi2) with a population of around 53,000, forming the core of the La Crosse-Onalaska (WI-MN Metro Area) with a combined population of around 140,000. Cargoes are shipped along the river to and from the region to St. Louis (Missouri) and St. Paul (Minnesota) via towboats transporting drybulk cargo barges with goods like grain and coal.
