New Mangalore Port, also known as New Mangalore Port Trust(NMPT), is an all-weather port located at Panambur, Mangalore in Karnataka state, India. The port covers an area of approximately 480 hectares or 1,186 acres and is recognized as the deepest inner harbor on the west coast. New Mangalore Port is the only major port in Karnataka and the seventh largest port in India. It serves as a significant hub for import and export activities in the region.
